We are delighted to share with you the Council of Ontario Universities’ (COU) newly designed website, which showcases the value of a university education and the extensive work of Ontario universities.
The site features an updated look, more user-friendly navigation, a mobile-friendly design, and improved search functionality. The website is also fully accessible and meets the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
There are several new features that we would like to bring to your attention:
- The Q & A section allows users to browse frequently asked questions, and submit their own questions about Ontario universities.
- The Resource Finder makes it easy for anyone seeking data about the sector to sort and filter through an extensive database of reports, infographics, charts and statistics, policy and position papers, and speeches.
- The Universities section showcases key facts and figures about Ontario’s 21 universities, and is a one-stop resource for students looking to apply or transfer to an Ontario university.
We have updated information on key issues affecting the university sector, data and facts related to Ontario universities, and a redesigned About section providing more information about the work of COU staff.
We are also happy to showcase our recent reports – such as University Works – in a format that integrates infographics, quotes, data and social media into a comprehensive page.
COU staff have worked collaboratively with developers at Think Thirty Three to ensure this website is a rich and intuitive resource. We are eager to showcase the work of Ontario universities through this new platform, and look forward to hearing your feedback.
