What services are available at universities to promote good mental health among students?

Ontario universities are committed to encouraging good mental health practices and to supporting students with mental illness to help them realize their academic and professional goals.

With support from the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment, the Council of Ontario Universities has worked collaboratively with its partner institutions to produce a number of resources for educators, administrators and student leaders, all of which can be found on www.accessiblecampus.ca

Here are some links to educational guides, reference materials and video resources designed to improve awareness and reduce stigma about mental health on campus.

If you are a student seeking support, simply call 1-866-925-5454 or dial 2-1-1 to access Good2Talk’s professional counsellors or information and referral specialists at any time of the day or night.
