Accessible Campus

Accessible Campus is a one-of-a-kind bilingual website, focused on providing tools to enhance accessibility and increase mental health awareness on Ontario university campuses.

It offers a wealth of accessibility-related content, including the following:

  • Toolkits designed to assist Ontario universities in meeting the requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation
  • Tip sheets and quick guides to enhance everyday accessibility
  • Resources to support educators in creating accessible teaching environments
  • A series of videos featuring university faculty, staff and students, designed to improve awareness and reduce stigma about mental health on campus
  • Key accessibility-related news and events, such as the Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA) Student Competition – an undergraduate student competition that encourages innovative, cost-effective and practical solutions to accessibility-related barriers
